MSI: The Key Factor
By partnering with and utilizing an MSI, Dominus Industries ensures that the engineering, staging, and deployment of the diode gapped AAS RAG Workstation, connected entirely to legacy DCS pipeline technologies and software configuration, are handled by a certified automation partner recognized in industry.
As Dominus looks to build out a secure, on premises, air gapped system, partnering with a Master Systems Integrator (MSI) bridges the gap between raw hardware procurement and plant floor reality. The MSI deploys Enterprise AI platforms combining Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) with process automation data ingestion to unlock engineering capacity while strictly maintaining data security and regulatory compliance.
An example of the complexity of the technology deployed is presented in the RAG Workstation Overview below.
The RAG Workstation Technology Overview
For a fully functional, unit level RAG AI Workstation interfacing through a data diode set directly with a legacy DCS environment, the underlying hardware must be engineered to balance high speed streaming data processing with dense, localized semantic cross referencing.
Managing continuous 1 second scanning loops for 2,500 active process tags while cross referencing multi gigabyte engineering files (P&IDs, heat & material balances, flow curves, control algorithms, and APC/RTO documentation) requires transitioning from a generalized server configuration to a highly targeted, on premises industrial AI workstation.
